Catch phrase for my beer holders
Promoting the Hostel Movement
Hello from Australia. I am getting some beer holders made (or as we call them stubby holders). They will have our hostel name/website/location on them but I am also trying to think of a kick ass CATCH PHRASE.
Any ideas? Current contenders in order of preference:
My Bunk or Yours?
Where the World comes to Party!
Stay wth us ... everyone else does!
Odds of meeting sexy foreigner ... 100%
Any suggestions hapoily considered .....if I use it I will send you a holder in the mail!

Just to let you know... this phrase has been used by HW already, I've got it on a T-shirt... :rolleyes:

Really .. and I thought of it all by myself .. they woudl have paid an advertising agency megabucks!
We use HW pretty heavily ... I have never seen the catch phrase 'My Bunk or Yours?' ..... was it a long time ago and was it only used fleetingly? I would suggest that it is a bit risque nowadays for the big company HW has become and they would not be using it currently?

Well, it's a tough question. I'd say if you can't find any better phrases, write'em up a nice e-mail inquiring the possibility using the phrase on your beer holders.
Even if they can keep the rights of using such promotion material (if copyrighted), it could be used by their permission. Otherwise I wouldn't mess with it but find something catchier... like Gordo's! ;) How about honoring it by a free beer or two for that? Still cheaper than using copyrights...
(Gordo, with both of your permission, how about a free beer or two in BackpackOZ's hostel bar? Who knows, you both might figure out some other catchy phrases meanwhile? ;) )

Thanks .. I don't reckon they could copyright it even if they wanted to .. it is a pretty generic term.
I googled it and nothing about HW but it seems to have been used in an American space western television series called Firefly!
