Data on Hostel Bookings and Occupancy

I'm in the process of starting a hostel in Los Angeles, where hostelling is fairly undeveloped. I trying to understand the demand/supply for hostels in the area, and was wondering if there's any data available on occupancy rates (Bookings made vs. availability) over a period of time for a particular area.

Does anyone know where I can get this data or related occupancy rates statistics? Do any of the booking engines such as HostelWorld, HostelBookers, TFThostels, etc make this information available?
