Hi guys,
first off sorry if I start ranting but I'm operating on 3 hours sleep and doing a double shift today and tomorrow morning too. I'm the owner and manager..glamorous life I lead I know...not. Im only back open 2 weeks after my winter escape and already am a total wreck after two weekends of having groups of guys to stay. Yes I take sec deposits of €40 a head...no deterrent, theyre too drunk to remember their names let alone deposits..always respectable, mid 30s, sound as you like checking them in then cue to 3.30am and theyve transformed into maniacs.(also have cctv in hallways)...cant afford to have a night porter up all night, its only a small operation)
I generally have a blanket ban on all male groups (extreme you think?) but need the cash at the mo and stupidly..even after 8 years.. think this time might be different...
usual messing...ringing reception bell at 4am to ask if theres any chippers open...puking outside the back door...keeping all the other guests awake till 5.30am...don't start me on the noise or the bodily fluids...
...just feeling a bit disillusioned at the mo...by the way its only ever one nationality I've always had problems with..and always drink related...I have 0 tolerance at this stage...being drunk is no excuse
gotta get back to cleaning..hope youre all having a better day than me:eek:

Irish every time! ....thanks!...feeling better today... last night was quieter thank god, mind you I was so wrecked I probably would have slept through an entire Paddys Day Parade marching through my bedroom.
top tip for the day...if I have a group of fellas that's kept everyone else awake all night they're always dead to the world in the morning when it comes to check out time. How do you get them out of bed?...Play "All by myself" at top volume outside their door...works every time! (some music theyll just lie in bed and listen too...)
