Hostel Stories
Last month an English guy checked into a friend's hostel. Declaring that he was short of cash he asked "Will you accept 5 Euro and 2 porno dvds?" The offer was not accepted, reportedly!
What weird payment have you been offered? Clean answers only please!

We were offered Canadian Tire money once for the bed (fake money for a hardware/auto parts kind of store in Canada). It was refused.
And once in a while get offered foreign currency of which no one on staff recognizes and not accepted.

One guest came with no money and assured us that his friend will come the next day (when the guest will be already not here) and will pay. and he was refused, sorry we are not that trustful:p

Having a bar open for guests (and making lots of noise) later than all the other bars in the city close, has left me with all sorts of offers, from a hundred pounds to a headjob just to get to the bar. Despite my belief growing up that such an offer would be the best thing ever, I declined. Damn this getting old and responsible stuff.
