Yes - all Hostels have a diffrent owner/owners and they are between 10 to 3 year on the market.

It's great that different hostels in the same city are working together. I like it!

I like it, too. I wish there would be more common sense like that in Vienna and esp. in Munich. We shouldn´t try to ruin each other in stupid winter price wars, instead think more about why we decided to work in this field in the first place. This is not Monopoly we´re playing. Well, it shouldn´t be.
