The listing for Meininger isn´t correct anymore. They´ll open a huge one in Berlin next winter (their 5th there, around 800 beds) and also have one in Hamburg and Frankfurt now.
Then again, they officially call their properties "hotels" now, not hostels. So - what´s a "hostel chain" anyway?

If a company owns hotels in addition to hostels, I don't think the hotels should be listed. On the Wiki page, I was mainly interested in tracking how many hostels are owned by single companies.
I think it's interesting to see whether hostel companies are expanding locations in the economic crisis...

We certainly see a growth. There´s a lot of movement in the real estate market, so it´s sort of a "now or never" situation. We´ll see how much of that growth is sustainable.
