We invite all those who get tired with those big, impersonal lodgings. All those who are looking for something different. More than anything, Bemma is an open house with cozy atmosphere, where you can meet interesting, world curious people.

We are fair trade and eco-friendly hostel. All the travelling vegans and vegetarians will find a perfect place to stay when in Wroclaw. We created our place using mostly recycled products and materials. To minimize the negative impact on environment we recycle and use mostly biodegradable, not animal tested sanitary products and detergents, and our rooms are illuminated only with energy saving light bulbs and solar panel lamps. We offer our guests tea and coffee from fair trade networks, and our vegan and vegetarian meals provided by friend´s catering service take into account different diets and whims. Our hostel is also open for all those traveling with their pet friends, as we realize how difficult traveling with animals may be.

The walls of bedrooms have been decorated by the best street artist from Wroclaw. You can admire the works of Coxie and OTKA. In the living room, next to the well-stocked bookcase with the press, books and comics, old record player and a collection of records, you will find a gallery of art works of our friends.

The management structure is very simple, horizontal. We manage ourselves, and make all decisions by consensus. Without bosses and exploitation.

Bemma is a small hostel in a historic building with excellent location in the city center. A few steps from the Botanical Garden, Old Town of island on the Odra River and Cathedral Island. As close as possible to that special something which cannot be placed on any map, and which is called the Pulse of the City.
Therefore our offer is for all those who want to feel the city. Wroclaw is not just monuments, architecture and interesting places. It is also people and their actions. We cordially invite everyone, especially those who would like to take part in these actions, to find later a well-deserved rest in our cozy, homey hostel accompanied by three friends and Czesiek The Cat.
