Really, we broke our mind.
Most all nice names already took somebody in the word. And one wants to be unique on Google.
What do you think about "Da! Hostel"? It means Yes! Hostel but in russian. We like that name, but its interesting how it is heard like phonetically for non-russian speakers.

I like it. Some people will know what it means. You could also teach people what it means.
Maybe on the website or logo, you could put a cartoon bubble over people so that they are saying "da!". If someone wonders what it means, you could have the answer on the website: "Da means 'yes' in Russian."
The example below is just a quick example of what I mean, made with a word processor.

Thank you for your opinion! We like the text bubble idea.
And we have gone further and added "i" to the name. iDA! Hostel. iDa means "come on" in russian. And sounds better.

I like it... you could even embed a video on the home page or sidebar that has people saying the word so they know how to pronounce it correctly.

When Volkswagen launched their Touareg SUV they ran a TV commercial with people attempting unsuccessfully to pronounce the word. (Sorry, I couldn't find the video) That might be a way to make your hostel video more fun. On the other hand, with only three letters how many different variants of iDA could there be?
Maybe you could finish the video by saying, "now that you can perfectly pronounce the hostel name it will be simple to ask anyone for directions. Just repeat after me..." (and then rattle off a long and complicated string of Russian that your average foreigner could never hope to repeat)
