Does anyone use free office software like OpenOffice.org, Google Docs, Zoho, Thinkfree, Lotus Symphony, GNOME Office, KOffice, or others?
Microsoft Office is going to have a hard time getting people to pay hundreds of dollars for their office software when there are so many free alternatives.
I use OpenOffice.org for my word processing and spreadsheet creation. OpenOffice.org reads and writes to Microsoft Office compatible files, though I generally save everything in Open Document Format (the new standard).
