Global hostel chain project

Hi all,

I am working on a well-known chain in Barcelona, Spain and I lead a project that focus on the creation of a Global Hostel chain.

I noticed that in this forum that there are many people who are interested to build and more likely manage their own hostel. For my part, I must say it is an achievable business, as long as there is passion, yet it is a very restricted option when it comes to capitalisation and maximising the business potential.

For hoteliers operating in a European city with at least 65% occupancy rate like Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin, etc., the limitation is when you are unable to accommodate more guest because of shortage in bed supply. This simple economics for Hotels is applicable to Hostels. With this in mind, my project value proposition is to build a Boutique Hostel with minimum of 200 beds in major European cities that will give a good price/quality ratio. We aim in building our first project in the cities mentioned above, other European cities and selected cities globally.
