Gomio sent a newsletter to their partners yesterday announcing that they have connected to several new channel managers including Siteminder as of last week.

The site has seen an increase in hostels joining up and listing their properties recently. This integration will make working with Gomio even easier for any hostels that use one of these channel managers.

In the newsletter it was announced that Gomio has also implemented the minimum stay functionality to their interface. This functionality is currently available through ASSD, Myallocator, Siteminder and STAAH.
It is worth mentioning that Gomio offers some of the lowest commissions of any hostel booking website. They even reduced their commissions for a while in an act of solidarity with the hostel industry when other OTAs were raising their prices.
It’s important for hostels to support the partners who work with us in the interest of mutual benefit. If any hostels are working with one of the channel managers above, it is a good idea to connect to Gomio and display your bed availability on their website as well. Additional exposure for your hostel is good for business, right?

In Israel we are using GOMIO affiliate system for ILH-ISRAEL HOSTELS and we are happy to work with them. Their technology is not superior but they are nice people and as Brian said the commission is lower then other OTA's
This year we saw an increase in number of bookings from Gomio as a whole - worth trying
