Google Said to Be in Talks to Buy Software Maker ITA (April 20, 2010)

Presumably you are allowed enough time to write a computer program to do it.

Presumably it is in the English language.

No real problem so far. But then:
How do you say: 167?

Ahundredandsixtyseven? Onehundredandsixtyseven? Ahundredsixtyseven? Onesixseven?:)

Well that is definitely not my interpretation when I saw the question. It makes the solution much easier than I first visualised.

But if that is right, and if the question was posed exactly as stated, then I would strongly criticise the question wording as being inadequate :(

I don't know... maybe it's "onehundredandsixtyseven"... :)

"ninehundredninetyninemillion-ninehundredninetyninethousand-ninehundredninetynine" would be a better test of programming ability than just converting the digits to words.
