D’Boa Hostel started 2 years ago in Salvador de bahia, in Barra.

After a year and a half we became the hostel reference in the city.

The first year we got good occupation rate  (more than 60% the first year). And up to  100% during High season.

D’Boa hostel is an autentic hostel and open cultural space, made by travellers for travellers.

In addition to be a reference in hosting backpacker, D’Boa is also known as a cultural space in Salvador nightlife. It is an open space where anybody can express its art and culture in the Small stage in the front.

We organise various activities and week events for more than a year, with food nights, live music, dance, theater, circus, poetry, paintings and game nights. All of this event take place in the terrace in front, it is the soul of the hostel, a place really confortable, which make the traveller feeling like at home.

Located in the heart of Barra, the turistic district of Salvador, 2 blocks away from the new waterfront. near the light house and  the beaches of Barra. 5 min from the shopping Barra,

We are surrunded by restaurants supermarket, bank,  beach, bus connected to the other turistic point (Pelourinho, rio Vermelho , airport)

Salvador is an olympic city for JO Rio 2016, (football games).  A rise of booking  is coming during the games and after with the people travelling.

Salvador is The biggest new years eve fest in Brazil, 5 days party in Salvador to start the high season,  Hostel gets full 2 month in advance: 3500 USD income  only with accommodation in 5 days.

Salvador is Carnaval of Bahia, 6 days carnaval + 4-5days of pre canarval : The world biggest street party  (guiness book) 2 blocks away from the hostel .We are sold out about 2 month before the event, (10000 USD income in 6 days) but you get all the people looking for accommodation during carnaval, You have many ways to make it profitable (extra 4000 USD last year).

High season (december-february) 90%-95% occupation.

A  hostel bar with weekly event live music known in Salvador night life.  On Fridays it become a cultural space, with circus, music, theater, exhibition, documentary projection

The hostel has 28 beds In 6 rooms with private bathroom

It is possible to  build a new room, and rise the capacity up to 45-50 beds.

We have a really nice front space in front with hammocks, sofa,  big table,  bar and a stage with music sound system to play music ; A réception hall, a big and well equiped kitchen, and open space at the back with plants, more quiet, with all the wall painted by friends travelling giving their art to the d’boa hostel
