who bought it?
I'm not sure. The owner sent me an e-mail a while ago only saying that "it was sold".

I would like to know if there is a general trend in Europe as regards the price of hostels when they are sold.
Is the asking price equal to the price of the building or is it the price of the building together with the estimated profits coming from the business (the so-called "goodwill" element) ?

Let's say, how much would you give for my hostel? What conditions would count? What opportunities you'd see in the future? How profitable a business already and how much more you can make? Overall the pricetag depends on buyer and seller...

How the buyer can find out about , lets say annual profit of that hostel ?
And why the price of the building should be higher just because it is a hostel ?
What measure is measuring avaluation of the hostel ?
I think if the hostel is 2-3 years old , the price of the building shouldn't be more than the standard price of the building

I guess asking the seller to provide some info would be the easiest! :D

Because you are making money on it, not just living there.

More precisely?

Well, overall it's always about buyers and sellers free agreement. If someone wants to sell a building on a skyrocket price and can't find an idiot buyer, the building will be untouched forever! :D
