Hi everyone,
Thank you for reading this post. Let me start by introducing myself.
My name is Zee and I am from Singapore. I am currently working as a Supervisor at one of the hostels in Singapore.
Before COVID, I was working in another hostel - which is close down as business is slow. In total, I have been in the hostel industry close to 7 years now.
I have toying with idea of opening a hostel in Singapore before covid happens. Somehow I didn't manage to get anyone to join the team. During the pandemic, I have seen a lot of hostels closing down due to no business.
Of course as the borders are now opened and I am seeing a rise in business in the hostel I am working right now, I thought it would be a good idea to start one now. I am hoping to find some investors to work with me. I do not have any business experience. However, with my seven years being a staff in two hostels, I am sure I am able to contribute and help out in areas that I can do - such as finding the perfect building, the rates, the areas and so on.
