Hostel is located in the most beautiful and safe street of the tourist district of La Mariscal, in a heritage house built in 1940 and rebuilt in 2007 to accommodate the hostel.
It has nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms on three floors. On the first floor are two bedrooms, the first one (room 1) overlooking the courtyard and it has a big window, has two twin beds, two bedside tables with their lamps, floor carpet, a bathroom and is 23 m2. The second room (room 2) has a bathroom, wooden floor and a double bunk bed, is a family room that has a window to an interior living room. (24 m2)
On the same floor, in the first, is an interior courtyard, where the gas system to heat the water is located. A washer- dryer machine is at one end of the courtyard that is 48 m2.
There is a living room with a glass roof, overlooking the courtyard and adjacent to the bedroom 2,it has a table for six people who may be willing to work there, eat breakfast, etc.
Moving up two steps from the living room is the breakfast area and reception. Reception is behind a counter-bar under which necessary glasses and crockery are stored to serve breakfasts. Behind the counter passenger records are made and accounts are kept. The floor on this side is ceramic. On one side of the bar is a fridge for common use and a microwave. In the breakfast room there are four wooden tables with their wooden chairs where you can serve 12 breakfasts at the same time. An additional wooden table serves to provide the coffee and breakfast bufette. The original wooden floor is in this area.
The living room, adjacent to the breakfast area has two armchairs and a couch of three seats. There is also a television, a central table and a beautiful fireplace that works perfectly.
The main entrance door is on one side of the room. There is also access to a small hall where there is a computer of shared use and the bookcase for book exchange.
On the same floor is a bathroom for visitors and guests that serves the social area and a kitchen where breakfast is prepared and where guests can cook their food. The main board of the kitchen is stainless steel, the dishwasher has two wells. There is a refrigerator and a kitchenette connected to the gas system. Under the board there are two cabinets to store cooking utensils. The kitchen is overlooking the courtyard with a wooden and glass door.
From the room where the computer is, stars the staircase to the second floor. An emergency door is in front of this staircase. The stairs are made of wood and has 17 steps.
On the second floor with the original wooden deck there are four bedrooms. Bedroom 3 is a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, has its own bathroom. It has a window facing the street. It measures 19m2
In front of this room there is the shared bathroom for the two dormitories in the same floor (room 5 and 6).
Room 4 has its own bathroom, a double bed; a closet and a bedside lamp, both the room and the bathroom have windows to the courtyard, where neighboring houses are. It measures 11.70 m2
Room 5 is considered dormitory (for groups). It has two bunk beds but can accommodate more. It has three windows facing the street and two storage spaces. It measures 18.00 m2
Down the hall is room 6, a single room which shares a bathroom with room 5.It has a single bed, a nightstand, a shelf for sorting clothes and the window faces the inner courtyard. It measures 6.35 m2.
As in all other rooms on this floor, the floor is wood, brick walls and wood lying except hab 3 which are plaster.
At the end of the hallway on this floor, a wooden staircase leads to the last three rooms. All of these rooms have their own bathroom. Room 7 and 8 are double and face the street, they have low ceilings because they are in the triangular style attic.
Room 9 is a single room where you can put a single bed or a bunk bed, the floor has carpet and its own bathroom, the window faces the inner courtyard. (14m2)
I n the center of these rooms there is a living room and luggage storage area.
The hostel has four fire extinguishers, three gas water heaters, gas system approved by the firefighters department with three cylinders .Also we have fire alarm system, emergency lighting.
It has totally new plumbing system and totally new electricity system.
We have only two staff (really good) in cleaning and night administration.
The rent is 2,350USD per month and we can make a 12 year contract.
