The Trindade Sea and Forest Hostel is located in Trindade village, district of Paraty, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil. Strategically positioned between Rio (3 hrs) and Sao Paulo (4 hrs). Exceptionally situated in the limits of Serra da Bocaina National Park and nested in a small valley of beautiful Brazilian tropical rain forest named “Mata Atlantica”. Just a 3-minute walk from the main beach and with access to a string of astonishing white sand beaches and transparent turquoise waters, we encounter the most perfect and unique blend of sea and forest.
The Hostel is composed of cozy exotic Brazilian hardwood cabins (refurbished wood from demolished antique buildings). These cabins are scattered within the rain forest covered property of 10,000 square meters and have a capacity of 27 guests divided between dorms, double rooms and double cabins. There is one dorm with 4 beds, one with 5 beds and one with 6 beds. Two double rooms have one double and one single bed each and two cabins also have one double and one single bed each.
The Hostel also has a beautiful 50 square meter hardwood floor yoga platform within the forest. The property could easily be transformed into a yoga retreat or a beach resort.
We are retiring and would like to sell or rent our little paradise, land, buildings and business. Everything is included, furniture (all designed by the owners), linens, a fully equipped communal kitchen and our own cabin for the new owners to live in. The land alone is worth the price we are asking for as the area has increased in value due to impossibility for the village (which is sandwiched between the sea and the national park) to expand. The Hostel has been top rated by hostelworld.com customers since it opened 7 years ago and is fully operational .We could also offer you assistance for a while if needed.
Timing is also perfect as Brazil will host the Football World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016.

I would like to talk to you further about your property. Do you have a Skype account? Before we talk, what is the asking price? Or alternatively, what are your terms to rent same? I recently returned from Peru and we were not able to "close the deal", and we are now looking at a property in Central America. In fact, my wife is traveling there at the end of the month. We want to keep our options open. That said, we have negotiated the deal almost to the point of conclusion. However, we are interested in your property. Please let us know as soon as possible as we would like to conclude an agreement by year end.
