Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam moved to a new location

Hello everybody here on hostelmanagement,

1999-2013

It all began in August 1999 when Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam opened it's doors to backpackers from all over the world. After noticing that the youth hostels in Amsterdam were booked most of the time and the hotels were too expensive for backpackers. Our idea was to open a brand new youth hostel in the sparkling center of Amsterdam. Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam started in a small 17th century building that used to be a hotel.

We have been welcoming guests for almost 15 years and in these years we had the pleasure to meet many inspiring persons from all over the world and countries we even didn't knew existed.

The things we noticed in these 15 years was that our hostel was to small and to far from the main attractions that Amsterdam is famous for. With this, we of course mean the Van Gogh museum, Rijks museum, I Amsterdam sign and the Concert building.

2014

We are happy to announce that from 2014 we can welcome you in a bigger building that is located in the beautiful Museum quarter.

This makes Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam the ideal starting point for your cultural journey in Amsterdam.

We believe in the fact that no matter how low the prices are, the rooms, toilets and showers have to be clean at all times. On top of this we make sure that the employees who work here are friendly and helpful to everybody who comes here.
