Hostel Summit 2017, Toronto, April 2017

The North American hostels are meeting once more for the annual Hostel Summit in Toronto, Canada!  This meeting will be hosted at The Planet Traveler. 

The Summit will start with an arrival evening mixer on 09 April, followed by two days of presentations and discussions.

Event Pricing:

USD 100 for registration (including 2 dinners - 2 lunches - 2 breakfast) = CAD 130

USD 24 for a bed in a dorm = CAD 32

USD 59 for a private room (2people) = CAD 78

About the venue:

Planet Traveler is located in Kensington Market, Toronto.

This now hipster neighbourhood scarred with graffiti and peppered with cafes has acted as a landing ground for many new immigrants into the city. At the turn of the last century the neighbourhood was predominately Jewish.

Since then the community had waves of Portuguese, Chinese and now Hispanic immigration. About 20 minute walk from the financial district, Kensington Market abutts Chinatown, University of Toronto and Little Italy.

The neighbourhood now has a mix of vintage clothing, butchers, cheese stores, take out, cafes and every flavour of restaurants.
