Hostelbookers.com adds Google Maps Street View

Hostelbookers just added Google Maps Street View to their Maps & Directions tab. Here's an example:

Street View provides 360° horizontal and 290° panoramic views for many streets in the world. Up to date images will be available for hostels in countries including UK, the United States, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

To log onto Street View visitors to HostelBookers click on the map icon included in the hostel description. In addition to improved imagery and videos, enhanced guides, events and travel news – the Street View functionality ensures that customers get the clearest view of their accommodation and surrounding areas before they book.

David Smith, chief operating officer at HostelBookers said: “The addition of Street View is just the latest in a long line of modifications to ensure that we provide customers with as much information as possible before booking their accommodation.”[/INDENT]
