Hostelbookers recently launched their new website. This one now has a search box with cool AJAX feature (searches cities while you type).
I think the new site is better than the old one except for one aspect -- the hostel descriptions are in scrolling boxes in the middle of the page. Scrolling text boxes aren't good for usability, and they cause the layout to break on mobile devices.

The attached screenshot shows the scrolling box within the middle of the webpage. The reason why scrolling text boxes don't work well for uses is because people don't read online as much as they skim. It's more difficult to skim when you have to scroll through a short area of text.
What do you think of the new site?
