Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knew any statistics on hosteling trends within the USA. What with hosteling becoming so popular for Americans in Europe I would assume there has been some kind of spike in hosteling in the USA within the last decade. Anyone know any resources for that kind of information? Thanks a lot.

Seeing Seattle go from 1 to 4 hostels in 3 years is what I think a really good indicator that hostelling is picking up in the US. I also see more american bookings climbing drastically in the past few years. These are only my personal experience, but I think a good guess.
