I just upgraded the software that powers this forum. I hope that the upgrade will resolve the error messages that some people were getting.

A big thank you to "Hostels" for setting up this site. I am a "one man band" running a 60 bed hostel on Crete. The nearest hostel is 35km away.
It is difficult, on your own, keeping up with new trends in backpacking and the facilities that people expect. At long last I don't feel alone. Thank you all.

Thanks for joining and helping to keep the site active. Traffic on the site was a little slow in the beginning, but GOMIO's recent mention of HostelManagement.com in their newsletter has helped a lot. The site will also be getting some additional publicity later in the month from one of the booking engines and things should really pick up then.
I'm going to be adding more features to this site as well as some free resources for hostels soon... I'll mention more details when the first newsletter goes out later in the month. I hope that this site will be a useful resource...
