Was hoping that someone can give me some advice regarding Hostelworld.
I have recently bought a hostel as a running concern and after attempting to register with Hostelworld, I was informed that Hostelworld would not consider our application due to unexplained problems with the hostel in the past. I have no connection to the former owners or business. I am not new to working in hostels and have worked with Hostelworld and the particular representative of my region for 5 years. This is the first hostel that I have owned and I am well aware that business will be a great deal more difficult without their affiliation.
Any advice much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure how to get through to them, but that's exactly one of the problems with Hostelworld's purchase of Hostelbookers. Once the companies are combined, a hostel in this situation might not be able to register with either booking system.
