How do I set up dorm rooms on Booking.com

For me i only put my private rooms on booking.com but you can of course put your dorm rooms as well.

Do you use a channel manager?

It has been a while now since I changed room settings in booking.com but under the add room section just select bed in dormitory and then the next type of dormitory 4 bed, 6 bed.

Then in the next box you can select the max number of people.

In regards cancellation you are right that there is a high % of cancellations through booking.com

I have a 3 day cancellation policy on booking.com

I also recently changed it to even if they are before the 3 days and cancel at any time I take 10% of the booking.

This obviously reduces the number of bookings but reduces the cancellations very much so.
