Idahostel: Boise, Idaho... opening July 2010
Greetings,
Idahostel, Boise's first hostel, will be opening later this month in the heart of downtown. We are a small (24-bed) travelers hostel with ties to many community-based institutions. Our 5 pillars are:
Art
Culture
History
EcoTourism
Education
We look forward to growing the hostel market in Boise, and networking with other owners, both regional and international. For more information on our operation, feel free to check out www.idahostel.com
All the best,
Andrew Mentzer

Looks like the sort of place I'd like to stop at if I was touring the US. I like the mountains and the wide open spaces, and the smaller cities.
Good name! But not quite as good as the hostel on Iona.;)

There are a few smaller B&B-type outfits around the state. We are the first traditional hostel, and the only one in Boise... really looking forward to building this concept in a new environment!

I'm not sure if it's still open, but it looks like there might be one in a town called Nampa.
I've never been to Boise... just Rexburg. I saw some giant storm clouds on the horizon and after a few days realized they were mountains in the distance. Great place...
