Interesting guests

Had 3 American guys staying here for a couple of days. Basically they're military veterans who are now involved in a project where they cut up their old uniforms which are pulped into paper which is used for artistic projects. Seemed like a really amazing thing. It's a form of therapy for PTSD I think, but also for a lot of them a form of protest against the Iraq war and what they've been through. They are currently on a tour doing workshops around the UK, and have an exhibition in Brighton this summer. Their website can be found here.

The picture is of them in the field next to the hostel drying their paper on our washing line. Fortunately it was a brilliant sunny day. Uploading the picture seems to have drastically reduced its quality.
