Introducing Yamanyá Backpackers, Cusco, Peru!

Hi everyone,

We opened Yamanyá around two months ago, two blocks from Cusco's Plaza de Armas. We were lucky enough to find a beautiful three patio home, with the best being hidden out the back: a stone swimming pool, which we're in the final stages of renovating and will be open by mid-late October, complete with pool-side bar, BBQ and plenty of grass. Those of you familiar with Cusco will know we get a huge amount of sun up here in the Andes most of the year, so Reggae Sundays in the sunshine should be a big hit.

We've also got super-comfortable beds with feather quilts, hot water, free internet and breakfast, wifi, bar with great cocktails, pool table and games, TV room with big-screen LCD.... you name it.

The in-house tour agency, Yamanyá Tours, is also going great guns, with a terrific selection of quality tours around Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and of course Machu Picchu.
