Hello everyone! For those of you who use keyless locks, do you have recommendations for a *long-lasting* brand? We've been using these, but they start to falter after about 6 months of 24/7 use. Is it worth it to investigate industrial alternatives, or is there a sturdier residential brand out there?

What are you currently using? I'm using Yale Digital locks and they seem to be working well after 8 months of solid use. You have to change out the batteries every now and again and rechargeable are not an option, which sucks. Other than that I've been fairly happy with them. Hey Grant! We're currently using this $76 model by Lockey, which is easy for guests to figure out and quite a bit cheaper but obviously not worth it over the long haul since they're wearing out so quickly. Definitely going to check out the Yale model - thank you!

We’ve been using HUNE locks with RF key cards. They also have keyless locks. I’m not overly enthusiastic about them, but the locks have worked for us (with some problems) for several years. We’ll be reworking our entire door system soon, and I will consider buying from them again.
It’s good to hear which locks people are currently using, especially if you’re happy with them.
Out of curiosity, what made you decide to use keyless locks instead of cards or other key devices?
