Looking for small hostel to rent/lease/buy

We currently are leasing a small hostel in Portugal and are looking for another to add to it! Preferably in Europe, but would consider anywhere else. We have some money, but are not millionaires, so nothing too expensive! We would also be open to suggestions of business partners or any other ideas.

Hi There, I have a small Boutique hostel for sale in Transylvania, Romania, a very up and coming city called Sibiu. We are No 1 in the Lonely Planet 2013. Romania is a very Latin culture and the language very similar to Portugal but all the backpackers want to travel to Eastern Europe these days. I advertised on hostelmanagement already so you can look for the whole add. I am selling the real estate also you it is a great investment as you can just sell the buildings in the future for a profit if you do not want to do the hostel anymore, so better than paying rent for those years. We have a small hostel in the Czech Republic that we would like to sell. It's just the business, the premises are rented (from the best landlord you could ever hope to find) and the current managers' lease expires at the end of July 2014. Hello there,

I have seen your post and it might be we have the same idea! But I was looking to put a hostel in Barcelona though. I habve quite long expierence with hostel and tourism during the last 10 years, mostly managing medium size hostels (up to 70/80 beds). Now I have some of the amount necesary to open a hostel, it might be even the whole amount, but I am looking to partner up to get through all of this with some help. With franchising on a single venue there is little to negotiate especially when the franchisor provides the completed and fully functional venue at cost. Asia BackPackers does have a internal finance operation for suitable applicants who wish to take up a franchise but are unable to raise the full amount.

I also consider maybe the option to rent the hostel and property for 2.100.000 cop/ month. Of course in case of renting there are some conditions to it. All come with comfortable mattresses, pillows, towels and all the linens. Renovated in 2014

The building is rented and we have just signed (starting from the 20th of May 2014) a new contract of three years. The renters are a rich Colombian family that I don´t expect you to have problems with if you want to renew the contract. The rent is low in Colombian standards, and that helps to get a good profit from it.
