If you have the sountrack for Amelia, I hope you'll pursue Yann Tiersen's other work. Additionally, Max Richter has some good music. Final Fantasy and Beirut are really great too.

Hi, i am searching idea for Hotel & hostel music, not too pop music or dance music, i like breakfast bit cheer up music , bit french style with accodion, piano, violin, etc. anyone can suggest any ( i have audio soundtrack from Amelia, anything else?)
also music for afternoon and evenign for the lounge room?

Music for the movie Buena Vista Social Club is a good one for a relaxed atmosphere I think.

If you want a hostel like a hotel lobby then good luck to you.
If you want a vibrant, happening hostel then live a little dangerously with the music. Try different things from around the world and see what works.
There is a wealth of African and Latin music to be explored.

This morning we started with the soundtrack for The Sound of Music
We finished the morning with the soundtrack for Grease.
People loved it! It brought smiles to hungover faces!

For breakfast, brazilian bossa nova works perfect. We use an ipod touch connected to the wireless network playing the Sky Bossa Nova Internet Radio.
I like jazz & reggae a lot as well, but the cool and slow ones...

hey, there is a great website called shoutcast.com. it has radio channels and you can just pick music by genre.
