Berge: I found my way to the prices (click Kontakt then Preise), and it's totally not a hostel, but a luxury-level guest-house or hotel. Prices seem to start at €120 for 2, and there are no singles prices or shared rooms.
Six new boutique hostels:

Forget everything you thought you knew about hostels. These six new spots come with designer credits, private and shared rooms, restaurants and some of the coolest furniture on the planet.
Properties featured - notice that some of the "hostels" aren't hostels:
It looks like Mama Shelter and CitizenM are hotels, not hostels.
What do you think about CNN's calling hotels "hostels"?

I contacted CNN about the error and left a comment on the article on BudgetTravel.com.
It's good to see hostels get positive media coverage, but I think the inclusion of hotels in an article with that title is a mistake.
It seems that only three of the six properties mentioned are actually hostels: Stay Hostels, Lub D, and Living Lounge.

Here's a related article from the same site -- February 2009:
http://www.budgettravel.com/bt-dyn/content/article/2009/01/03/AR2009010301129.html
It says a new hostel is opening in Mexico City, "private rooms from $99."
It also says, "This fall, trendy European hotel chain 25hours is opening its first hostel-hotel, tentatively called Paprika Modern....private rooms from $125."
I looked at both hotel companies' websites and neither mentions the word hostel:

Budapest hotel webpage (note the link to superbude.de in the bottom right -- does that mean they're going to offer dorms too? $125 sounds very expensive for the cheapest private room in a hostel.)

Will see how it goes for them... About 10% of hostels in Budapest closed their business during the last month only. We have only 108 hostels up to date.
