I'm actually a member of the team who created seekngogo.com and wanted firstly to say thanks for posting about us on your message boards!
I have noted your idea about being able to browse by country and quickly see which countries have hostels in them, this is something that we'd love to have too so hopefully this should be on the site in the not too distant future! We'll also try to include browsing by city so that you can quickly see on a map which cities have got hostels in them.
Some of the other things we're looking at are to improve the speed of the site (which we're aware is sometimes slow) and also ensuring that pages such as those that you mentioned are included. We're also hoping to have a blog soon to keep you up to date with what's going on!
