I just saw this news that a London hostels group bought the St Andrews Hotel in London:

astor hostels has rebranded... to an extent. and i know theyre not short of cash. my first guess is them but journey hostels seem to be a team on a mission.
my guess is one of those 2. either way, its an unusual spot to open a hostel - fair way out east; generally slightly rougher than the rest of town.

I read the article several times before posting this thread, trying to figure out if it was a backpackers hostel. The multiple meanings for the word "hostel" get confusing. :)
