has anyone seen 'a map for saturday'? its a doco (of sorts) about backpacking around europe. i havent seen it yet but might order it on DVD...

Expanding on the thread about favorite books, any favorite or recommended movies?
I don't usually watch movies, but I saw a lot of documentaries over the summer. One good one was Who Killed the Electric Car. The DVD has some extra features that talk about the hydrogen conspiracy and the difference between electric cars (plug-ins), plug-in hybrids, and hybrids. It's a great movie.
I also finally saw The Lord of the Rings series this summer. They ruined two of the best scenes from the book, but overall it was a good job for such a difficult project.
Are there any movies that feature hostels that aren't horror movies?

It's not a movie with hostels in it, but a film I saw called "All my friends are leaving Brisbane" had an interesting take on backpacking, or rather the ones left behind when everyone else goes "OS"

alot of people may think twice about hostels now thanks to the films HOSTEL and HOSTEL II. aint put me off tho. fav movie alpha dog is 1st the prob the departed.
didnt see the favourite book part lol its gotta be jury by james patterson awsome book keeps you on the edge of your seat lol.
