We are launching Singapore's first official ‘Pod’ Hostel!
A pod refers to a capsule or an elongated vessel for guests to sleep in. Despite its compact size, it provides basic amenities like a comfortable bed, blankets, alarm clock system, television etc. Thus, we would like to reach out to backpackers, learn more about their habits and seek their feedback.

Good day!
Thank you for sharing with us. Yes we are aware of Matchbox and Wink hostel:). Although they have the similar concept of providing pod style beds, the design of their beds closely resemble that of bunk beds. With close proximity between each bed and exposed front part of the bed, we've learnt that the privacy and comfort of their guests are compromised.
Our bed design is similar to the japanese pod bed, with front door and convenient facilities for our guests:)

Hi kudos to you for thinking of starting a hostel. You have said that you are aware of other pod hostels... matchbox was the first hostel in singapore and as I understand there are many other pod hostels in SEA, how will yours be the "first"? you may have to seriously consider the appropriate use of this term. How will yours be different?
