3 dollars ... for a gallon?
as far as my elementaryschool memory goes a gallon is about 4 liters, eh?
calculateme.com got me: 1 Gallon = 3.78541178 Liters.
So, .. if you pay $3 per gallon, u pay $0.7925161579118877259900110523775 per liter.
after todays, 21.10.09, currency, 1 (one) US dollar ($) is worth 5.55NOK (norwegian krone). so you pay 4,4NOK per liter, or 16.655811832NOK per gallon of gas ..

10 or 12 years ago you could still find gas here at under $0.80 a gallon in some places. :eek:

They get a lot of it from my alleged "ol´ pal" Hugo Chavez. So, I´m happy they keep wasting it - it keeps socialism in Venezuela alive! :D

actually, a majority of America's oil comes from Canada, not Venezuela or the middle east.

sure, we might buy almost all the oil they export, but they are such a minor share compared to other sources. Like I said, the largest source is the great white north, and it looks like they will be around for a while with steam extraction of oil residing under ice shelfs. Pretty :cool: stuff.
