I just posted an item on the "Definition of a hostel thread". After a while it didnt appear on the page, so I thought I had made some mistake, and I posted it again. A message appeared telling me that I had already posted it. But it still didnt appear on the page. Then I saw that the last post in that thread was indeed by myself. But it still wasnt there!
I think I have noticed 2 or 3 occasions when the last posting has not appeared for a while. Maybe it's there now.

Sorry about that. It's the page caching problem with the forum software. I'm going to try to fix it ASAP. If I turn it off, the entire site gets knocked offline from traffic spikes.
In the meantime, if you press Ctrl-F5 it will do a "hard refresh" of the page and load the new content.

I noticed the need to refresh pages after I made a comment for the comment to show up.

Sorry about the problem. I had HTTP no-cache headers enabled, but the server load got too high and the site was going offline. I'm still trying to figure out a workaround.
I'm actively working on this. Will post an update as soon as possible.

I've tried a fix. Let me know if you notice the problem again. I hope this works :)
EDIT: I spoke too soon -- the problem was still there when I posted this comment. Will keep searching.

I had he same problem... then I pressed the refresh button and there we go, my post showed up.
So I guess it's a refreshing failure.

When I came in 15 mins ago, the main menu said that the last post in this forum was in this thread by Aboriginal. I looked in this forum and it said the last post under Problem was by Hostels early in the day. The Aboriginal post was not there. I did ctrl-F5 and Aboriginal's post appeared. But the menu for this forum had not changed.
Some 8 hours ago I tried to send a personal message to a person, and it would not accept it.

I just tried for the second time to send a message to one of the contributors . It failed again. This is the message I received:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.
I then tried to tell you this as a personal message. That also failed, with the same message.
