I have just completed a marketing campaign with Corcreggan Mill Hostel in Dunfanaghy in Co Donegal Ireland- fitting Loventis linked with MyAllocator - GREAT SUCCESS -SYSTEMS REALLY WORK WELL!
Anyway, I wanted show you the one minute video I made and tell you the story behind it!
My eldest son Tom (star in Video and proud father here) was told I was taking him to play golf in Dunfanaghy but when he got to the Hostel I introduced him to the lovely Brazilian helper and told him he was going to be famous!
After much complaining he did it and I think he and Anna did a great job-What Do you think?

This is really great. I would love to see more videos like this done for smaller hostels including my own in San Francisco. I have always thought an entrepreneurial backpacker could easily work their way around the world making videos like this for hostels. All they would need is a website to showcase their previous work. I hope someone in the Hostel Jobs section reads this. :-)

Nice job! I really like to see hostels making their own videos. Did you do all of the filming in one day? How long did it take to edit everything?
Now that it's done, are there any tips you would give other hostels who want to do something similar?

Hi Brian,
It took about 4 hours of filming on the day, but to get down to one minute I would spend about an hour at night after work for about 2 weeks
Needsless to say my son has not lived it down with his university pals!
Only tips I can offer is to draw out your story in pictures of what you are trying to achieve - each frame should tell a differnt story!
I am no expert at this only a bit of fun to try and offer a different insight to what the hostel has to offer

Hi guys, so glad you have caught onto online videos you should truly encourage it amongst others in the community and more importantly in the hostel world. We have been producing online videos for hostels in the uk and each and every hostel have had a dramatic increase in bookings. we also continuously promote each hostel we work with through our social media platforms.
