A real Booking engine

I think I am dreaming here.... I have asked Myallocator and a few others but I want a real booking engine! Maybe ehre is another way to do this but below is my problem.

When a guest goes to book at my website and requests a spread of 5 days, the booking engine says No but in reality it should do like the airlines booking engine. Yes you can stay 3 nights in room x with a room chagne to room y. Is there a booking engine that can do this???

I've been looking for a booking engine like that too!
what PMS do you use?

There was a workaround i used with my old PMS.

i would have an availability map with my old PMS that i would put in the myallocator widget first prompt on a modal javascript window it would show this

Thanks for this, I looked at your link and I guess the only way around this is to offer a visual representation of the what is available.

I contacted beds24.com which offer even lower rates to Cloudbeds, (myallocator) but I would have the same problem for bookings. I really think there is an awesome opportunity for Tourist assocations in cities here in Canada to hook up an opensource database server. We all post our availbility and when a guest asks for 10 nights it does like the airlines and says 5 nights here, 3 nights there and back to my place for the remainder. It would squeeze out the 3rd party booking engines if they initially tried to book directly to my website. All the channel managers could just create a plugin to the server.

Hi Nick, i think that's the reason we are getting more hostelworld reservations nowadays, they changed their search engine and people fill all the little gaps we have in between reservations.

i'm curretnly testing the mybookings from myallocator, i'll keep yo uposted to see if i find a workaround or if they have that feature (which would be a great selling point IMO)
