Reviews on Hostelbookers
I recently booked a hotel through Hostelbookers. Here are the questions that it asks. It forces you to answer all of them or it refuses the review. Therefore they do not get a review from me.
My answer to 2 would be: dont know. I'm not going to spend time re-looking at HBookers website. To 3 would be: it depends. And being a hotel, fun is obviously Bad. Facilities and services? Virtually none compared with a hostel. So do I put that the facilities were BAD? And what on earth is Atmosphere in a hotel? There's no atmosphere in any hotel!
But what I dislike most is question 5. This results in the text reviews on Hostelbookers being strongly biased positively. Just a few reviewers have a sufficiently strong negative comment that they put it in, in spite of the question. If you want a fair range of opinions of a hostel, you need to look at HWorld rather than HBookers.
Question 6, I've no idea.
2. Does the property describe itself honestly on the HostelBookers website?
3. Would you recommend this property to other travelers?
4.How would you rate Hotel ******* for: Bad Average Good
Atmosphere and character?
Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff?
Location?
Cleanliness?
Facilities and services on offer?
Safe and secure?
Fun place to meet people?
Value for money?
5. What did you like about this property?

6. Was HostelBookers promoted at the hostel?

Maybe something like:
- 65% nitrogen
- 17% oxygen
- 10% tobacco smoke
- 5% hot air (over a beer)
- 3% misc gasses (higher percentage in Amsterdam)
