Ryanair to Launch £6 Transatlantic Flights
Good news for US hostels if this happens.

Low cost flights could be run from Stansted, Prestwick and Birmingham to New York under the airline's plans.
They would be operated by a new company, which Ryanair would set up purely to take on the established airlines on the route.
Senior executives at Ryanair first floated the idea of entering the transatlantic market more than a year ago. But at the time it appeared to be little more than a pipe dream.

Ryanair has claimed it will use the "open skies" agreement between the European Union and the US to launch transatlantic flights with fares from just £6.
Within the next three or four years, Ryanair plans to launch a new airline with a fleet of up to 50 aircraft to several destinations in North America.

According to their policies, it would be £6 during low season, if you book 6 months in advance, also £5-15 extra for each kilos above 15kg... However, it would be still competitive if it's only $300 at the end... Will see if Ryanair survives the oil crisis and their own financial crisis... including the recent economy crisis in the UK and the US!
