I have not been checking the messages on here, since the instructions ask to send an email with a brief summary of your interest and ability to purchase. I am a little behind on answering emails, but attempt to make a response to all of them. It is possible that I missed a couple, if you have not received a response yet please resend your email and I will make sure to reply within the next couple days.

I am currently in negotiations with a seller, but don't see how to delete a listing from here (other than to write "Pending" in the subject line).
Regarding the price - "legitimate" sum of cash is relative. For example, paying $1 million for a business earning $1 million / year is actually cheap. Meanwhile $10 can be overpriced. I believe we are priced quite low relative to earnings.
Reviews - Yes, it is impossible to please everyone. If you look through the reviews of many large hostels you will see reviews ranging from "Best atmosphere, great staff, and lots of fun" to "Too loud, not relaxing enough." Luckily that does not affect our occupancy and most people are still having a great time there.
I will go through today and send out emails updating everyone on the status.

Updated the listing to let everyone know that the pending sale did not go through and the buying opportunity is available again for now. If you are interested in starting quickly, I am willing to offer additional incentive to find a new partner this month.

Notice: For the next 30 days, I'm lowering the price from $75,000 to $55,000.
I have been living in Colombia and have been too busy to sufficiently work on selling or running the hostel this year. Finding someone to help take over my role promptly is a priority.
The hostel was already priced low, this price is only to ensure a quick sale. After 30 days the price will go back up and I will likely work at the hostel through the high season until April.
