Have you seen on the hostelworld homepage that banner that reads "something big is coming"
Anyone speculate on what it is?
I can't help but to feel that I'll be disappointed :(

Well that was a bit of a let down. It does seem to appear to be that as the "something big is coming" has been taken off the site.

Hostelworld just dropped of a big box of tenth birthday promotional stuff here, with posters advertising their golden ticket giveaway.
Should have guessed by the font they used for the 'something big is coming' banner on their website...

I still think they should eliminate the service charge. That would be a good birthday present from them to all the people who use their site!
