Here in Greece we have big licensing problems due to a law that looks like it was introduced in the 1950's not 1993 as it actually was. I will not bore you with the details unless you want to hear them. Suffice to say that in Ireland, which is about half the size of Greece, there are over 160 Youth Hostels. In Greece there are about 12, and just look at the difference in the weather!
I want to change this situation but cannot do it personally as I have to keep my head down! I was rather hoping that staywyse.org would front the fight with The Ministry for Tourism for me. I mailed them in November, giving all the details, but no reply to date - probably because I have not paid the annual subscription of 200 Euro!
Would I be better off keeping the money in my pocket?
Any info would be appreciated.

Interesting... looks like their goals overlap with this site a little. (At least the "trading, networking and marketing opportunities" idea.)
