Looks like the idea is gaining traction - the supposed heavyweights in Australia's backpacker industry will be at the ABiC (Australian Backpacker industry Conference) meeting up for drinks and to talk shop... sounds like a familiar concept doesnt it?

Of course, these guys will have various tourism ministers etc to chat to afterwards and it includes more than just hostels but hey.

Anyone from down under attending?
