US Office of Travel and Tourism Industries

I just found the website for the US Office of Travel and Tourism Industries. There were some previous forum discussions about whether the USA had a office of tourism or not.

There is also the "official" tourism website for the USA which looks like a for-profit LLC owned by a nonprofit industry association.

DiscoverAmerica.com was developed under a cooperative agreement between the Travel Industry Association (TIA) and the US Department of Commerce. The website is owned and operated by Discover America LLC which is a wholly owned subsidiary of TIA, a U.S. based, non-profit organization representing the travel industry whose mission is to promote and facilitate travel to and within the US.
