As you know, Deepdale Backpackers & Camping is on the north Norfolk coast on a farm, which is part of the beauty of the place. However one summer, a few years ago, a customer asked if we could delay harvest while he stayed, as he gets hayfever and the harvesting might make it worse.

i had once a guy that wanted me to order 6 escorts and pay a bed in a six bed dorm for them

We had two Norwegian lads check in who we named Hanz and Franz due to their strong physiques and in the middle asked "where can we buy guns?". Staff kind of hesitated then clarification came out that the wanted to purchase rifles for when the canoed in the Canadian north so they could hunt some food. 3 months later they rechecked in. They were about 40lbs lighter each. Guess the hunting was not all that good.

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Well obviously we're all had the weidoes but on Sunday night i had a classic.
Before they arrived they emailed me to ask that they could have a room as close to the ground floor as possible as he had a lot of bags which I arranged for him. When he arrived he looked at the room and asked if there was anything available not facing the road. I happily obliged but he didn’t actually return the other key for the original room, a fact I completely forgot as I got side tracked.
That night I had to use one of the guest rooms as the room I usually live in was being redecorated. At about 11:30pm, just as I’m getting ready for bed, he uses the key he hadn’t returned to let himself into the room. I had to dive for the nearest thing I could as I was completely naked and he walks into the room to find me wearing a computer keyboard. Any normal person at this point would have left the room quickly. This guy actually comes in, closes the door and starts talking to me as if a) it was perfectly normal to talk to a stranger who is using computer hardware to cover their nudity and b) as if I was just standing behind the reception counter and was there to answer all his questions.
I asked him a number of times for him to leave and in the end he only left when I had to scream at him to, ‘Get the f*ck out of my room.’ After this I got dressed then refunded and kicked him out of the hostel. I can’t have people stay who think they can go into other rooms without invitation and it’s lucky it was myself not a guest who he walked in on.

I've had a fair few in the 5-6 years I've been running this place. I tend to set a number of rooms aside off-season for weekly paying guests to keep the beds full.
I had one guest that went a bit weird and I suggested that it would be best if he went back home to spend time with his parents.
After he left I found a shoebox and written inside, after his declaration that he was a spy, was a profile of everyone who was staying here.

We had a woman suggest that we put people of similar age group in the dorm rooms....?!?! since it is discrimination and you can not ask someone there age when taking a reservation, this seemed a little odd for us.
