what happened to boo.com?

go to boo.com - WRIs 'new' site - and it redirects straight to hostelworld

when did this happen? I cant help but assume it has something to do with the recent change in ownership of WRI. given that boo seemed to be more hotel oriented than hostel, is this a sign of a new direction for hostelworld/wri (or perhaps a return to their original direction)?

or is this old news and I've just been out of the loop too long? :confused:

Interesting... I just searched around and it looks like Boo.com closed November 1, 2010:

I never liked the boo site, Seemed always took forever to load and often just locked up on me.
I think I had 1 booking thru it in 5 yrs.
New owners often unload and trim excess. thats prob what happen here.
