Dear Friends,
I want to start 40-50 Bed Hostel in NYC. I wondering what is requirement to get License for a New Hostel in NYC. My building is mix use, first floor is Commercial and Second and Third floors are residential, I want to use whole building for the Hostel. Does any one knows how to get the License, or the requirement, any good attorney, or any goverment office info. I realy don't know how to, where to get these informations. Is it easy to get License in NYC? There too many hostels in NYC. I saw one of the guy who operate the hostel in Residencial Building. Please help me with this info.

I'm not sure about zoning and permits, but it's probably a good idea to check with the City.

Any body knows what is regular requirements in New York City for hostels?
My zonning is R6B and I have my own 3 story Private Building. I need help some one please guide me. What department issues the license for Hostels? I believe there are lot of Hostel owners from new york City visiting this site, so can you please help me guys? I want to hear from some one who did it. or if someone could introduce me a attorney related who specialized and has exprience to this hostel Licensing.
